About the Artist | Jaime McGlinn

I don’t just listen to music. I paint it.

My art is born from a deep connection with music, particularly the energy, emotion and atmosphere of electronic and progressive house.

Working instinctively, I translate sound into colour, movement and texture, creating bold, expressive abstract paintings that capture the feeling of music rather than a literal image.

I’ve been fortunate to work with internationally renowned DJs, including John Digweed, Nick Warren ,Darren Emerson, Anthony Pappa and Dave Seaman, whose music continues to influence my creative journey.

My work has been exhibited internationally, including at MADS Art Gallery in Milan, the Louvre in Paris, the Saatchi Gallery in London and the Van Gogh Gallery in Madrid.

Each painting is a personal exploration of rhythm, emotion and imagination, created to evoke the same powerful connection we experience through music.

My ambition is simple: to create art that isn’t just seen, but felt.
