The Last Call is an energetic abstract work driven by the emotion and atmosphere of music.

Deep blacks and electric blues collide with flashes of turquoise, white and silver, while expressive lines and splashes move across the canvas like sound travelling through a room. There’s a sense of controlled chaos — layers of movement, rhythm and energy that reveal something different each time you look.

The title captures that unmistakable moment at the end of a night: the final track, the fading lights, and the feeling that you’re not quite ready for it to finish.

Created from my personal connection with music, The Last Call is less about painting what I see and more about painting what I hear and feel.
